We know education is a fundamental right of everyone in India, but not everyone gets proper support to achieve what they have ever dreamt for. Filling the void, we have stepped out to introduce ‘Sakshyam Foundation, Odisha’ and dedicate it to our alumnus - School of Chemistry, Sambalpur University. With the motto: “Hands to Uplift” we shall reduce the unseen hurdles of students towards their education.
Sakshyam Foundation aims to bridge the gaps in a student’s training with respect to the overall teaching-learning process. Also, we promise to provide financial support to deserving students, encouraging students to participate in activities above and beyond the laboratory & experimental work. We also provide an all-time e- Library facility that will help them in career for higher studies and placement in industries that awaits them ahead.
President's Message
Sakshyam Foundation, Odisha was born in 2021 from a simple yet powerful feeling, gratitude. As alumni of the School of Chemistry (M.Sc. 2018-20), Sambalpur University, we wanted to give back to the place that shaped us, guided us, and gave us our identity. What started as a small step has now grown into a shared commitment to stand beside students who need support the most.
Our guiding spirit, “Hands to Uplift,” is not just a tagline, it is a promise. A promise that no deserving student should feel alone in their academic path.
Through the Sakshyam Fellowship and our support to semester toppers in every batch, we strive to recognize effort, reward excellence, and encourage perseverance. Along with this, the mentorship and constant support from our members create a sense of belonging that goes beyond academics.
I have personally witnessed how collective effort, even in small ways, can bring real change. A little support at the right time can ease burdens, ignite motivation, and open doors that once felt out of reach.
Sakshyam Foundation is, at its heart, a family, one that grows stronger when more hands come together with the intention to uplift.
