1. SFO Fellowship 

The Sakshyam Foundation Fellowship (SFO Fellowship) is more than just a scholarship—it is a hand of support, extended by alumni to students walking the same path they once did. When we began this journey, our dream was simple: no student of the School of Chemistry at Sambalpur University should have to give up their aspirations due to financial struggles or a lack of guidance.

Through the fellowship, we try to ease the unseen burdens of student life. Yes, financial assistance is a part of it, but what makes it truly meaningful is the mentorship, encouragement, and sense of belonging that come with it. Senior members of Sakshyam Foundation stand beside the fellows—not just as guides, but as friends who understand the late nights, the endless experiments, and the uncertainties of building a career in science.

The SFO Fellowship is about reminding students that they are not alone in their journey. Every fellowship granted is not just support—it is trust, belief, and the hope that one day, these students will also pass the torch forward.

Eligibility Criteria

The fellowship is meant for those who carry both promise and perseverance.

• Who can apply? Any M.Sc. student currently studying at the School of Chemistry, Sambalpur University.

• What we look for? A spark for learning, reflected in a good academic record and a genuine curiosity for science.

• Who needs it most? Students from modest financial backgrounds often struggle to cover the expenses of higher education.

• More than marks: We also value sincerity, involvement in academic or cultural activities, and the willingness to grow beyond the classroom.

• Recommendation: A small word of support from a faculty member helps us see the student through the eyes of a mentor who knows them best.

Our selection process is transparent, but it is also compassionate. Behind every form is a student’s story, and we try our best to honor it.

2. Meritorious Awards

At Sakshyam Foundation, we believe that excellence deserves recognition, and hard work deserves to be celebrated. With this spirit, we introduced the Meritorious Awards, a gesture of appreciation for students who secure the top positions in each semester as well as the topper of each batch at the School of Chemistry, Sambalpur University.

These awards are not just prizes—they are symbols of encouragement. For the toppers, they serve as a reminder that their dedication and long hours of study are seen, valued, and applauded.
